Emergency Power for a Zoo in Belgium
Project
The Sanctuary project at Pairi Daiza required the supply of two GSW2520P generators, each housed in 40-foot containers and delivering an ESP power rating of 2500 kVA, to ensure reliable backup power for the park in the event of an outage.
Any power failure would have had severe consequences for the zoo: commercially, with the shutdown of billing systems; operationally, with the loss of security infrastructure and visitor services; and critically, for animal welfare, with disruptions to essential care, feeding, and environmental systems.
The installation of robust generator solutions was therefore essential to uphold the park’s mission as a true sanctuary for animals.
