The West African Power Pool (WAPP) was established to promote the development of power generation and transmission infrastructure, as well as to coordinate electricity exchanges among ECOWAS member states.
To ensure uninterrupted operations, the WAPP headquarters in Cotonou is equipped with two 1100 kVA generators, providing a reliable and continuous power supply.
